Thirty-one women gathered in New York City for 3Plus International’s U.S. premier and signature mini mentoring event.
They came from Philadelphia, Boston, New Jersey and the Big Apple.
The room was abuzz with energy. There were women in finance, medicine, publishing, marketing, coaching, and the twitterati were there as well. Ages ranged from early twenties to late sixties. Countries of origin spanned the globe.
Five superb mentors shared their experiences and advice, answering questions about career transitions, negotiating monies, and working through, over, and around the old boys’ club.
People received encouragement, support, inspiration as well as tactical advice to implement the next day.
The panel disbursed and smaller groups of women met with mentors for more intimate conversations.
Then, with a clash of cymbals the prize drawings began.
Women won books authored by mentors and/or members of 3Plus International including:

- Strategy Leadership and the Soul: Resilience Responsiveness and Reflection for a Global Economy, Jennifer Sertl
- No Excuses: 9 Ways Women Can Change How We Think About Power, Gloria Feldt
The evening’s big winner, Shannon Lewis, drew the $1800 professional branding package, which included on the spot makeover, photo shoot, and 3 coaching sessions with international career strategist, Dorothy Dalton. Stay tuned to our website for updates on Shannon’s career makeover.
