Personal Branding
This is a fast-paced, multi-media, interactive workshop which explores the key steps to building up a personal brand and start the process of self-marketing as women navigate the complexities of today’s workplace.
It can be run face to face or online. It has been updated to take into account the recent shift to remote working as part of our online learning adaptions
Participants will learn the meaning of a personal brand and understand the key components to building it from scratch. They will also cover the 6 habits recommended to incorporate into a professional routine. There is an additional focus on some of the gender traps that women sometimes fall into that sabotage their best efforts.
We will also take a look at the gender biases that senior women encounter when they become more active in self-promotion and self-advocacy, with practical tips on how to deal constructively with any pushback.
The session covers:
• Developing self-awareness
• Crafting a powerful message
• Sharing that message – including LinkedIn, social media and F2F networking, meetings, conferences
• Developing and enhancing people skills
• Making an impactful first impression which also touches on Online Leadership Presence but not in-depth. That is a separate workshop.
• Getting comfortable with discomfort.
