AI Harassment and Digital Safety at Work
By: Dorothy Dalton

How to recognise, respond to, and prevent technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) in the workplace
The workplace has changed, and harassment has changed with it. Artificial intelligence, social media, and digital technologies have created new opportunities for connection and innovation, but they have also enabled new forms of gender-based violence that organisations are often unprepared to recognise or manage.
AI-generated sexual harassment, non-consensual deepfakes, voice cloning, cyberstalking, image-based abuse, online impersonation, and digital coercive control are no longer hypothetical risks. These behaviours can have devastating consequences for employees’ psychological safety, well-being, reputation, and ability to work, regardless of whether they originate inside or outside the workplace.
Employers have a duty to create safe working environments, yet many managers and HR professionals lack the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to technology-facilitated abuse.
This practical, trauma-informed workshop provides organisations with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to recognise, prevent, and respond appropriately to Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV), helping create safer, more respectful, and legally compliant workplaces.
